I have been painting and creating art for over 25 years.  I hold a BFA in Fine Arts from James Madison University and a MALS degree concentrating in Visual Arts from Hollins University.  I taught International Baccalaureate Art at Salem High School for eight years and now run The Creativity Retreat for Women – a Day Spa for the Soul.  I also teach ceramics and painting for the City of Salem Parks and Recreation and substitute teach at Salem High School.  I work out of my home studio with my six year old in tow and another daughter due in April 2010!  I look forward to a new year of creating, teaching, cooking and painting!  May you also find a way to live each day creatively!
